Project Description

FEDINC performed an evaluation of plant site capacity, structural integrity, and mechanical conditions. The study included material balance, process flow sheets, existing equipment sizing, proposed upgrades, list of existing equipment capacity, efficiency and recovery, equipment repair cost, proposed plant modifications and a list of supplies and equipment required to be purchased. This study also required the review of the integrity of the existing plant structure and a list of repair and upgrade costs necessary to structurally support the proposed equipment modifications. FEDINC solicited pricing of alternative expenditures for comparison in an evaluation of the different aspects of the project. This capital evaluation required soliciting cost estimates, sizes, weights, configuration and detailed data for equipment required to rehabilitate the existing plant. The final phase of the project included recommendations as to which equipment to keep, repair, rehabilitate and/ or demolish and replace.
